Dovetail Labradors is dedicated to the betterment of the Labrador Retreiver breed.

We breed for ourselves to produce dogs that meet the AKC standard and are of sound mind and body.

Not every puppy turns out to be a show dog so we place them as pets, obedience and hunting companions. We have also produced working seeing eye dogs for the Guide Dog Foundation in Smithtown, NY.

Labradors have many hereditary health problems. Dovetail Labradors have our dog's eyes vet checked annually, along with OFA hips, elbows and hearts.

We sell our pet puppies on AKC limited regisration.
